We are not your typical M&A advisors. In recent years, we've been called in when deals stalled: positions hardened, the focus lost, and the original goals forgotten. In mediations and decision-making processes, we've seen how culture determines success or failure – as a shared foundation from the very beginning.
Based on this experience, we now intervene earlier: pre-deal and immediately after signing. We interpret culture as a strategic snapshot, revealing what unites the parties and where potential conflicts might arise. We translate this into guidelines, priorities, sequences, and communication – discreetly, within small groups, and with NDA protection. We work impartially and with respect for both companies. Implementation? That lies with your leaders and teams. Our role: navigator and sparring partner.
Where we come from and what qualifies us
Over the years, professional friendships have grown out of mandates. This has led to our strategic and practical involvement by management, shareholders, and governance – closely involved in complex decisions and responsible for enabling strategic goals through culture and leadership. This trust creates obligations: respect for people, clarity on the issues.
From these dialogues, and together with his team, Christoph Strömer developed the vision of "Culture Due Diligence." Christoph is a certified psychologist, has been an entrepreneur/managing director and consultant for over 25 years, a navigator for transformation, and a mediator in crises. His compass: Clarity. Decisiveness. Connection. Soft on people, hard on points.
We are a growing team and a curated network of experienced practitioners and experts: former specialists and executives from corporations and medium-sized businesses, now interim managers and senior consultants – from sectors including automotive, energy, industry, construction & building materials, and retail. These are people who speak the language of their industries – and can tell when something isn't quite right. For each project, we staff with a lean and suitable approach: clearly defined roles, short communication channels, one team.

What we are not
Not a substitute for legal, financial, or commercial due diligence. No change programs or interim management. We advise on direction and priorities – your teams or other professionals are responsible for implementation.
